When Sherman Theatre asked us to create the show image for their production of Romeo & Juliet, we said a big yes to the Bard.
Commissioned to deliver the feature image, design and accompanying marketing material, we wanted to create a fresh take on the world’s oldest love story.
The final image was used across digital advertising (including an e-trailer) and print media, and inspired an experiential photo wall at the Sherman Theatre venue, made in conjunction with Sherman 5.
How we helped
Our idea was to shoot an implied-naked scene of the two famous lovers, entwined but anonymous, for Sherman Theatre’s timeless production. From consultation, through to sketching and concept development, we worked with the Sherman team to deliver an image that effectively promoted the production.
We turned the image into print marketing collateral for a seasonal brochure and large format wall graphics to promote Sherman 5.
