FamilyPoint Cymru - Christmas campaign


It all started when...

One of our projects, FamilyPoint Cymru, a signposting and information service for families in Wales, wanted to reach out to potentially vulnerable families during Christmas.

As one of the most turbulent times of the year, it was important to speak directly to FamilyPoint's audience; to let them know there was help if they needed it.

In December 2016, we released a Facebook video campaign using 20 adverts with bespoke imagery to promote 1 core video. The campaign was released bilingually on both FamilyPoint Cymru and its Welsh counterpart, PwyntTeulu Cymru. 

What happened next...

Over 15 days, the campaign reached 27,792 people. Using different messaging around issues like post-Christmas money troubles or pre-school anxieties, the posts achieved over 1,201 engagements and led to an uptake in both website visits and helpline calls.

During the campaign, FamilyPoint Cymru's Facebook reach increased by 790% while their video views increased by 1,179%. Most importantly, families who needed support were given it, making the campaign a big success.
