Overview
The British Institute At Ankara supports, enables and encourages research in Türkiye and the Black Sea region across the arts, humanities and social sciences.
They came to us with an outdated website that wasn’t functioning how they needed it to. They required a new website and portal that would be the ultimate knowledge base for all visitors and audiences, showcasing research, opportunities, events, news and more.
Solution
We began with rationalising the envisaged content, and engineered a new approach to housing and accessing their wealth of data and information. Our custom-built Content Management System included bespoke functionalities like event tools, news capabilities, publications, research directories, and comprehensive listings of funding and grant opportunities.
The design focused on clarity and intuitive navigation to ensure easy access to information. The result is a streamlined, user-friendly platform that empowers the British Institute At Ankara to effectively share knowledge and resources with its audience.
Restructured architecture & content for a better user experience
With such a large amount of content to display, we developed a robust but flexible framework and integrated third party systems via API to enable the housing of a large research library.
Custom features for easy client management
A repository with a wide variety of content types needs an advanced approach. We developed tailored custom post types to provide an events management system, news, publications and other listings for easy management by the client.
