Meet Cardiff, the Official Cardiff Convention Bureau, is the team responsible for bringing business event organisers from across the world to Cardiff, to host large-scale conferences and events in the city. Having tried traditional advertising methods, a new solution to promote their service and attract new clients was needed. Showcasing their expertise in supporting business event planning was paramount, as was pulling focus on the asset that makes the brand unique; their people.

Solution

A new digital strategy was devised, focusing on the opportunities for improving how visitors navigated and engaged with the brand’s channels and existing content - and identifying opportunities for new methods to attract visitors, along with maximising leads and conversions. The strategy brought together content architecture and UX development, video production, new content creation and social campaigns, to improve brand awareness and lead generation.

A digital download was designed and developed specifically for the client’s customer base. Accessible only through data capture, it was a key tool in generating leads and as a pivotal piece of marketing content within the paid social campaigns.
