Bringing history alive for Lady Killers’ resident expert with a personal website
Overview
A rising star in the podcast and TV scene, Professor Rosalind Crone is known for being a lead detective on the BBC smash hit podcast Lady Killers with Lucy Worsley. She’s also regularly seen on Channel 4, BBC and Channel 5, providing historical insights and her expertise on the 19th century.
Rosalind approached us to craft a personal brand website that would not only showcase her extensive breadth of work but also build on it, encouraging new enquiries and collaborations.
Solution
A new online showcase website was developed to perform as a modern, accessible digital portfolio that could present Rosalind’s expertise, previous work and her public persona.
A bespoke style was crafted to blend timeless elegance with modern visuals, and a unique logotype was created - all working together to present this updated identity in addition to her well-established profession within academia.

From distinct category pages to deeper content about Rosalind herself, the new personality website involved curating and displaying the content in an easily discoverable way.
Bespoke styling & visual features for a new identity
Inspired by the data-driven website project, Prison History (that we completed a few years ago), we combined a custom palette with a new logo, typography system and image style to form a visual identity that would reflect and differentiate Rosalind’s unique position.
