Overview
For the past 30 years, the Waterfront Conference Company have hosted a multitude of professional events that enable people to connect and network with senior leaders and decision-makers in specific sectors.
A new custom WordPress b2b website design and build was required to accurately represent the company online and handle event management.
An interactive approach to design and development
After planning the architecture we created interactive prototypes to present and get feedback from the client with ease. Following feedback, the build started in WordPress with the creation of custom functionality.
Pre-live testing
Internal testing is crucial to ensuring the website will be dependable once it goes live. Our development team begins by composing it as effectively as possible using WordPress in a block builder called Gutenburg, which results in faster load times for users as fewer plugins are required on their end. We then move on to external checks, such as user testing with additional team members, where they will provide feedback about any necessary adjustments regarding any potential bugs or glitches they may find in the functionality of the site. Before it is finally sent live, it is first sent to the client for testing, or what we call user acceptance testing.
Keeping the website up-to-date
Regular updating of any WordPress is crucial for maximising security and ensuring the website runs smoothly. In addition, the website was setup with server side security plus the addition of a virtual firewall which blocks malicious IP address.
